In any case, I don&#039;t really understand the kind of diffidence you describe, though I suppose some people are simply more aware of their audience than others.  Usually, though, blogs do make their originators more aware, simply because of the explicit feedback loops they provide.  Feedback, if it&#039;s ill-timed or unresponsive to the target&#039;s real concerns or feelings, can have a negative impact, but for the most part people do feel tremendous satisfaction from the fact that others are listening, and acknowledging their efforts.
